Cavallino is a hairy leather available in 40 solid colours and 3 natural spotted colours. The average size of the hides is about 4.5 sqm, the thickness is 1.3-1.5 mm. The recommended use of cavallino is on furnishing accessories requiring little physical stress. The characteristics of the hair do not allow high colour resistances to light and heat. For the same reason it is not possible to guarantee the same tonality of colour from one hide to another one.
